Each month features a Seanfhocal.  Seanfhical literally means “the old word”. In essence it is a statement of old Irish wisdom.  

Each seanfhocal is illustrated by way of a story, reflecting the old oral tradition by which stories were passed from generation to generation.

This is a Calendar that reflects the old way of life, with lessons as relevant to to-day  as times past.
